So you want to be a UX Designer?

We're looking for a User Experience (UX) Designer to help us deliver user-centred design and research for national and international clients across the public sector, financial services and commercial projects.

We’d love to have you come work with us in our beautiful Edinburgh office (when we are able to return), but we’d also consider filling the position either partially, or fully via remote working.

About the UX team

In the User Experience (UX) team we’re responsible for designing the experience of a digital product – how easy it is to navigate, how it behaves, and how it feels. The ultimate aim of our game is to design something that’s not only usable, but that surprises and delights people. If a website is frustrating, annoying, or just plain dull then perhaps that site needs our help. Beyond the design of the functionality, the UX team act as custodians of the product’s behaviour and design, making sure that the whole team’s vision is maintained right through to the finished product; so we are involved in most of the production process in some way or another.

Job description

As a UX designer at Whitespace you'll need to advocate appropriate strategies for research, test and design to continually improve our work.
