With some of the year’s biggest design and marketing awards approaching, we're delighted to have received a number of nominations for our work and team.
First up are the coveted Scottish Design Awards organised by The Drum, which recognize the design talent in Scotland within the Design & Architecture industries. At this year’s Scottish Design Awards, Whitespace have a total of 9 nominations in the following categories:
- DESIGN: Poster - Innis & Gunn (May the 4th)
- DESIGN: Item of Self Promotion - SANT-O-MATIC
- DESIGN: Craft - Innis & Gunn (May the 4th) and Rio Tinto Seasons Greetings Digital
- DESIGN: Website Design – Innis & Gunn website and Tape Studios website
- DESIGN: Digital Design - Fringe 2013 Animation and Rio Tinto Seasons Greetings Animation
- DESIGN: App Design - Greener Journeys App
With 2 more nominations than we received last year and being the most represented agency at the awards, we’re thrilled to be up against some of the finest design talent in Scotland. The Scottish Design Awards 2014 are being held on 5th June in Glasgow.
Julie Gray, Digital Marketer within our Strategy & Planning team has been shortlisted for the Rising Agency Star Award at Marketing Society Scotland’s annual celebration of the best marketing campaigns and achievements. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Marketing Society Scotland Star Awards, one of the industry’s most prestigious awards schemes. Over 250 entries were submitted across 33 awards under five core categories; strategic, development, communications, sector and champion.
Judges will award one Gold, Silver and Bronze Star for each category at the black tie Gala Dinner on 12 June 2014 at the Corn Exchange, in Edinburgh.
We’re also proud to announce that our recent work for Business Stream has been nominated at the UK Digital Customer Experience awards. The awards recognize & celebrate the delivery of exceptional customer experience through digital media and channels. The final awards are to be held on 9th July in London.
