It’s been described as 'probably the hardest off-road-Tweed-clad-pipe-lit-plus-four-and-headtorch-wearing run that exists.' Its name is The Mighty Deerstalker. And on Saturday 12th March, in the pitch darkness, 11 Whitespacers took part in this challenging, off-road 5k race in Innerleithen.
Not only did they all come home alive and injury-free, they all came home within the top 90 competitors (out of 500 entered into the 5k) with one of our very own winning the men's category!
With that, and most importantly, they also raised a great deal of money for PTSD UK – their chosen charity. An all round great performance.
